Product and SaaS UI/UX design
We design the interface for software products: dashboards, admin panels, and the screens your users spend hours in every day. Built for clarity under real use, not for a portfolio screenshot.
What a product design engagement includes
Software interfaces get harder to fix the longer they exist. We design them to hold up as the product grows, not just to look right in the first demo.
- User flows mapped against what people actually do in the product
- Wireframes before visual design, so structure is agreed first
- A component system your developers can build from consistently
- Interface design for every state: loading, empty, and error, not just the happy path
- Usability testing with real users before you commit to a build
- Handoff files developers can implement without guessing your intent
Who this suits
Founders and product teams building internal tools, dashboards, or a SaaS product for external customers, especially where the interface has grown by addition over time and nobody currently owns how it looks or works.
If you are validating an idea before building anything, we can also design a clickable prototype to test with real users before a single line of code is written, which is usually the cheaper way to find out if the idea works.
Work we have done
Product and interface work from recent projects. More is on our showcase.
Interface design for a portfolio and case-study platform, built around fast browsing rather than a static gallery.
Interface and product design work carried from early concept through to a build-ready specification.
Questions we get asked
Do you design or also build the product?
We design the interface. We can build it too if you want one team on both, or hand clean files to your own developers if you already have them.
How long does a design engagement take?
A focused product area runs four to eight weeks. A full platform redesign runs longer and is scoped in phases so you see progress throughout.
Do you run usability testing?
Yes, with real users where possible. Design decisions on a product people rely on daily should not rest on our opinion alone.
What do you need from us to start?
Access to the current product if one exists, or a written description of what it needs to do if you are starting from scratch.
Can you work with our existing design system?
Yes. We extend what is already there rather than replacing it, unless the system itself is the problem, which we will tell you plainly if so.
What do we get at the end?
A component system and screen designs your developers can build from, plus a short walkthrough of the decisions behind the interface.
